Signs Along The Rivergreenway - You Won’t See
 

At the end of Pemberton Drive near the Maumee River, you can go up the ramp to the bikepath and start toward New Haven and that’s where you’ll see it on the left.  It’s a memorable sign. You will not see many signs on the greenway, but the Fort Wayne Parks Dept. apparently thought this one was worth spending money to post. So, I’ve decided to present some of my own sign ideas for your consideration. Everyone has a different viewpoint about everything, so I won’t expect the parks dept. to take me up on my unsolicited suggestions, but it would be nice if they did.

Okay, so those are my ideas.

Now, imagine you’re a visitor to Fort Wayne. Imagine you came to walk or bike on the Rivergreenway and saw signs along the way. What might you be more impressed by, one of my suggestions above, or the beautiful, uplifting bit of fanciful poetry that inspired this page.
